In this video, I will share a three-part process that helps you strategically brainstorm and organize your ideas using Milanote so that you generate smart and strategic content ideas for your audience.
To get started with Milanote, you can create a board for your brainstorming session.
- Create a board: Kick off your brainstorming session by creating a board on Milanote, then create different sections or lists with the different content you’re analyzing (i.e. web traffic, social media posts, comments and graphics). You can also add in links to your most popular videos, articles or social media posts.
- Gather inspiration: Upload images, articles or other content into Milanote so you can take note of what is performing well, or what is inspiring you. You can add links to social media posts or articles that you would like to create your own perspective on for your audience. You can also add notes and insights about your data and topic and keyword research.
- Brainstorm ideas: Start brainstorming content ideas within your content pillars and subtopics. You can add notes, sketches or even drag and drop images into Milanote to help visualize your ideas.
Make sure that within each section or content idea, that you include details about your target audience, key messaging and potential keywords to mention. You will also want to ensure you leave yourself notes about which product or services you want to mention and which call-to-action you want to include in your content ideas.
